FOSTERING NEXT GENERATION OF LIVING DRUGS

Center for IPS Cell Therapy

We believe in the potential of iPSC as an unlimited source for next-generation ATMPs, building the French National Bank of GMP iPSC to answer unmet medical needs.

Our first mission

Building the French National Bank of GMP iPSC.

01

Minimise cost & redundancy

A single national bank reduces cost, logistics and redundancy, and increases the chance of finding rare HLA-matched donors for every patient who needs one.

02

Quality & ethics, guaranteed

Every line is held to a high standard of quality control and ethical application, from donor consent to clinical release.

03

A French center for iPS cell-based therapies

CITHERA is developing the national bank of clinical-grade pluripotent stem cells and new cellular biomedicines to fight cancer. A center of the University of Paris-Saclay, Inserm and the University of Évry at Genopole, directed by Professor Annelise Bennaceur Griscelli and attached to INSERM unit UA09 "Malignant and Therapeutic Stem Cell Models," led by Professor Ali Turhan in Villejuif.
